Camille Rochefort

Dossier

Heiress of a Ruined House.

Camille writes in glass—every page clear enough to cut. She catalogues inheritances that feel like hauntings: the chandelier that ticks at night, the family crest on napkins no one uses, the debts carried like perfume.

Her book with us, Inventory of a Falling Room, is a sequence of lists that turn into confessions: linens, lovers, lawsuits. Isidora edited it at a marble table and refused to stand until dawn.

Current status: excerpts displayed in The Archives with the margins scorched; a limited “hotel stationery” edition is planned for patrons.
